A Perfect Treat
The sophomore learners had their educational tour on October 22, 2007. It was after the second quarter exam when the group went to the different towns of Iloilo City to relax at the same time to learn.
Their fieldtrip included some of the exciting spots in Mandurriao, Sta. Barbara, Cabatuan. Located In the northern part of Mandurriao, they visited a workshop engaged in pottery making. After that they had a brief stroll at the Eco Park in the town of Sta. Barbara, then took their lunch at the Iloilo Golf and Country Club which happens to be the oldest golf course in the Philippines.

The trip was concluded by the thrilling hiking of the muddy Balic Hill in the same town. |
Pre-school Learners Visit Museum, Coca Cola Bottlers
Learning is much more fun outside the classroom. ISA Preschool learners had their field trip last 25 October to Santa Barbara Centennial Museum, Coca Cola Bottlers and CPU Butterfly Garden. Each place brought different learning experiences to the learners.
 |
The learners were arranged into groups as the tour guide, Ms. Romela Toledo, introduced to them the history of Santa Barbara. Inside the museum, learners had a glimpse of things used by our ancestors. Things used in wartime, like old helmets, water jugs and weapons were also on display. |
 |
At Coca Cola Bottlers plant, learners had a chance to see how machine pours soda into the bottles. The learners took pictures in front of the two giant sprite and coke cans. |
 |
The last place the learners visited was the Butterfly Garden inside the Central Philippine University Campus. Before the tour started, learners watched a documentary film about butterflies. They asked many questions when they saw a caterpillar coming out from the cocoon and later turned into a beautiful butterfly. |
