Dennis Ventilacion reaps International award

ISA seniors Dennis Ventilacion Jr. won 3rd honors in the 2011 China Junior High School Match Olympiad held in Beijing Jingshan School last August.

The 39-member Philippine team underwent a 2-part individual contest. The 1st part was a three open-ended problems to be solved in 90 minutes, and 10 short-answer problems to finish in an hour in the 2nd part.

The Philippine team won 6 2nd honors and 70 3rd honors.
Close to 1000 from several countries and territories joined the competitions.

They were warmly welcome by our Executive Director Mr. Peter M. Chan. Based on the email communication between Sr. Celine Chen (2nd from right) and Mr. Chan, ISA administration has prepared a classroom observation schedule for the visitors on subjects such as English, Chinese Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
