Ah-Shin Educational Foundation Search for 10 Outstanding Chi-Fil Students Krisha Wee One of 20 Finalists
In the congratulatory letter sent by Ah-Shin Educational Foundation dated 27 November, ISA is informed that Krisha Wee, a Fourth Year ISAer, was chosen as one of the 20 finalists in the 18th annual nation-wide search for ten outstanding
Chinese-Filipino students in school year 2010-2011. The final interview will be on 29 January 2011, 9 a.m. at the Philippine Chinese Education Research Center in Manila. This is the first time ISA joins in the search.

Krisha Wee’s achievements in the past twelve months include the following: a consistent Most Outstanding ISAer in both English and Chinese classes (general average not lower than 95 with no grade lower than 90); Vice-President of the ISA Student Council SY 2010-2011; a Rotary Club Boys and Girls Week Junior-judge (September 2010); badminton champion in IloPRISAA and Integrated meet (November 2010); winner in IloPRISAA math competition (November 2010); winner in the U.P. Inter-school Statistics Quiz (November 2010); winner in MetroBank-MTAP-DepED Math Challenge (February 2010); passer of four major college entrance test, namely, the U.P. College Admission Test, Ateneo College Entrance Test De la Salle University Entrance Test and University of Santo Tomas Entrance Test. |

John Earvin Salcedo, a fourth year ISAer, won 2nd place in Oratorical Contest sponsored by the Rotary Club of Iloilo South on 26 November 2010 at the Western Institute of Technology Auditorium.

Seven private and public schools in Iloilo City participated in the said contest. Contest pieces are curbed to the theme: The Four-Way Test: Rising up to the Challenge of a Government in Transition.
