The Scholars: Turning a New Page
As ISA bids good bye to school year 2009-2010, and is ready to embrace a new start, so is its appendage, The Scholars. The school publication has always been a faithful chronicler of the major campus events in the past six years, serving as a disseminator that keeps the community abreast of every step taken, and endeavor pursued, by the school's constituents.

ISA is about to embark on another journey, so is The Scholars to turn another page. That page starts with a blank sheet, and will end up quite expectedly with nostalgic memoirs that, as past experiences suggest, would serve as reminders to all stakeholders that they have a great role to play. Their deeds would, in fact, help fill out another colorful page of The Scholars. They are after all the primary contributors of this publication. In his welcome address during the commencement exercises last 22 March, ISA President, Mr. Vicente C. Tiu, mentioned many good things happened at ISA in the just concluded school year. Indeed. But no one, I am quite sure, would argue that these are at best tip of an iceberg, many better things are yet to come our way. |
ISA Parents Assembly cum Stress Management Forum

ISA Parents Association President, Atty. Esther Trimañez (left photo), called for an annual general parents assembly in the morning of 13 February to wind up the year's affairs, and setting the tuning of next year's programs. A forum on 'Stress Management via Understanding Problem Behavior' given by Mrs. Rosalea Cornelia de Leon immediately followed. An election of new set of ISA Parents Association officers for SY2010-2012 ensued after the lunch break. Another main agendum that morning was the presentation of the yearend assessment of school affairs and the general plan of action for SY 2010-2011 made by ISA Executive Director Mr. Peter M. Chan. Many parents asked Mr. Chan questions during the open forum. |
